I am surrounded both by natural beauty and interesting people.  Photography is my window into this beautiful world and these scenes are not so much as they appear in my view finder but in my artistic interpretation of those images. I tell my students that the photograph is just the first step in the creative process. The camera and my eye record the images and the computer is the palette and paint brush I use to transform the world as I visualize it. I photograph many different subjects, scenes, and moments. There's a picture around every corner. The magic I find in daily life and my pictures and original art tell my stories.
